The tycoon and owner of Tesla and Space X, Elon Musk does not stop challenging the Russian president Putin after the decision of the latter to invade Ukraine and wage war. Musk has been adamant about Putin and almost every day he uploads tweets with which challenges the Russian president to a duel.
Elon Musk posted on Twitter a photo of himself fighting sumo in his latest challenge to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The billionaire founder of SpaceX shared the image under a previous post in which he officially challenged the 69-year-old warlord to a “duel” to decide the fate of Ukraine.
Russia invaded its Eastern European neighbor on February 24, but the campaign has stalled with Putin’s forces failing to make any significant moves – and thousands of soldiers and civilians have been killed in the process.

“I challenge Vladimir Putin to a duel; Ukraine is at stake”
In a bid to end the atrocities, Tesla CEO Musk wrote on Twitter last week: “I’m now challenging Vladimir Putin to a duel; Ukraine is at stake.”
The boss of Binance encryption company, Changpeng Zhao, commented: “Brother, of course I hope you win, but the reality is that… I have not seen the videos with your kong fu”. Musk responded on Monday with a picture of himself fighting a sumo wrestler. It is not clear when the photo was taken, but the businessman claims to have won the fight.
He added: “He managed to throw it, but it cost me to break my c5-c6 & 8 years of great back pain! It was finally corrected with c5-c6 disk fusion “.
After first challenging Putin last week, Musk concluded his offer with a direct reference to the Kremlin. Do you agree with this fight? he wrote, tagging the Kremlin’s official Twitter account.
The Russian president has a black belt in judo and is the co-author of a book on the sport, entitled “Judo: History, Theory, Practice. Putin became honorary president of the International Judo Federation in 2008, but has been suspended from that role due to his invasion of Ukraine.
A storm of playful tweets
Musk’s bizarre challenge was part of a storm of tweets he sent within three hours on March 14th.
In a tweet, he posted a meme of a character from the Netflix series Narcos sitting on a couch on the terrace and writing: “Netflix is waiting for the war to end to make a movie about a black Ukrainian falling in love with a transgender Russian soldier.”
Musk has sought to side with Putin after the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, even providing internet services to the war-torn country via his Starlink satellite service at the request of Ukrainian officials.
