SpaceX founder and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has reportedly blocked Jack Sweeney on Twitter, who created a Twitter bot to track Musk’s private jet. The bot published real-time data about its location.
Musk offered Sweeney $5,000 to stop posting his plane’s movements on Twitter. However, Sweeney turned down Musk’s offer and demanded $50,000 instead, saying the amount would cover his college tuition or help him buy a Tesla car.

“I don’t like the idea of being shot by a psycho,” Elon Musk said in a private message that was addressed to Jack Sweeney. On January 26, Sweeney stated that he would prefer an internship with Musk in exchange for deleting the account.
In a recent Lex Friedman podcast, Elon Musk stated that if they decide to start getting people to Mars now, it will cost over $1 trillion.
