American billionaire Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla and SpaceX, published a warning on his page on the social network Twitter about the danger of using the Starlink satellite Internet system in Ukraine.
Important warning: Starlink is the only non-Russian communications system still operating in parts of Ukraine, so it is highly likely to be targeted. Please use Starlink with care.

Elon Musk was asked to clarify exactly what he meant and what it means to “use with care.” To which the billionaire replied the following: “Turn on Starlink only when necessary and place the antenna as far away from people as possible.”

He was also asked if Starlink could be under the threat of a cyberattack from Russia, like Viasat was a few weeks ago. Musk’s response was: “Almost all of Viasat Ukraine’s user terminals were disabled due to a Russian cyberattack on the first day, so… yes.”
Earlier, the head of the Russian state corporation Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, criticized billionaire Elon Musk and his company SpaceX, which deploys Starlink satellite Internet equipment in Ukraine.
