Billionaire Elon Musk will remain friend and advisor to US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, even after he left his position in the Government Efficiency Department (Doge), Vance said in an interview with Fox News on Thursday (3).
The political newspaper and ABC reported on Wednesday that Trump told members of his office that Musk will soon depart and return to the private sector, although it is unclear whether the businessman will leave before his 130-day term as a special Expire government official in late May.
“Doge has a lot of work to do, and yes, this work will continue after Elon leaves. But fundamentally Elon will remain a friend and advisor to me and the president,” he said.
