The distribution of a gross dividend of 0.10 euros per share for 2021 was decided by today’s regular General Assembly of Hellenic Petroleum.
According to the current tax provisions, the amount of the dividend of 0.10 euros per share is subject to withholding tax of 5% (excluding or varying the withholding rate for shareholders subject to special provisions), hence the net amount paid of the dividend amounts to 0.095 Euros per share.
The Ordinary General Meeting set, as the cut-off date of the dividend, Monday 27 June 2022, before the start of the ATHEX meeting, as the date for determining the beneficiaries (record date) of Tuesday 28 June 2022 and as the starting date for its payment (minus according to the law tax charges / deductions) on Monday 4 July 2022.
The payment of the dividend will be made through the National Bank of Greece as follows:
1. Through the Participants of the beneficiaries in the DSS. (Banks and Stock Exchanges) in accordance with the regulations in force of EL.K.AT.
2. Regarding the cases of dividend payment to heirs of deceased beneficiaries, whose titles are kept in the Special Account of their Share in DSS, under the management of ATHEXCSD, the dividend payment procedure will be carried out after completion of the legalization of the heirs, through the branch network of the paying Bank.
The dividend will be collected for a period of five years in accordance with the relevant provisions, while after the lapse of five years the relevant amounts are statute-barred and fall definitively to the Greek State.
