The General Index of Import Prices in Industry in December 2021, showed an increase of 23.6% compared to the corresponding index of December 2020.
According to an announcement by ELSTAT, a drop of 10.4% was recorded when comparing the respective indicators of the year 2020 with 2019.
The General Index for the month of December 2021, compared to the index for November 2021, showed an increase of 1.5% compared to an increase of 2.7% recorded during the corresponding comparison of the indicators for the year 2020.
The average General Index of the twelve months January 2021 – December 2021, compared to the average General Index of the twelve months January 2020 – December 2020, showed an increase of 20.0% compared to a decrease of 10.8% in the corresponding comparison of the previous twelve months.
