The General Price Index of Construction Categories of New Residential Buildings for the first quarter of 2022, compared to the corresponding index for the first quarter of 2021, showed an increase of 5.6%, compared to an increase of 0.8% when comparing its respective indices year 2021 with 2020.
According to ELSTAT data, the General Index during the AD quarter 2022, compared to the index of the AD quarter 2021, showed an increase of 2.4%, compared to an increase of 0.7% recorded during the respective comparison of its indicators year 2021 with 2020.
The average index of the twelve months April 2021 – March 2022, compared to the corresponding index of the twelve months April 2020 – March 2021, showed an increase of 3.6%, compared to an increase of 0.1% in the respective previous twelve months.
The General Price Index of Construction Costs of New Residential Buildings of the AD quarter 2022, compared to the corresponding index of the AD quarter 2021, showed an increase of 6.4%, compared to an increase of 1.1% recorded during the respective comparison of the indicators of the year 2021 with 2020. In particular, the annual increase of 6.4% is due to the increase of the Material Price Index by 7.9%, as well as the increase of the Labor Remuneration Price Index by 4.0%.
The General Index during the AD quarter 2022, compared to the index of the AD quarter 2021, showed an increase of 2.2%, compared to an increase of 1.2% recorded during the corresponding comparison of the indicators of the year 2021 with 2020.
In particular, the quarterly increase of 2.2% is due to the increase of the Material Price Index by 2.4% and the increase of the Labor Remuneration Price Index by 1.9%.
The average index of the twelve months of April 2021 – March 2022, compared to the corresponding index of the twelve months April 2020 – March 2021, showed an increase of 4.5%, compared to an increase of 0.3% in the respective previous twelve months.
