The Hellenic Statistical Authority announces the Industrial Production Index for November 2021.
Specifically, the General Index of Industrial Production for November 2021, compared to the corresponding index of November 2020, showed an increase of 8.0% compared to an increase of 8.9% recorded during the corresponding comparison of 2020 with 2019.
The average General Index of Industrial Production for the period January – November 2021, compared to the corresponding index for the period January – November 2020, showed an increase of 10.0%.
The seasonally adjusted General Index of Industrial Production for November 2021, compared to the corresponding index for October 2021, showed a decrease of 1.2%.
The index of the sector of other manufacturing activities recorded the largest percentage increase, while the index of the sector of construction of machinery and equipment recorded the largest percentage decrease in November 2021 compared to October 2021.
When comparing the November 2021 indices with the corresponding indices of November 2020, the largest percentage increase was recorded in the clothing sector, while the largest percentage decrease was recorded in the coal and lignite mining, crude oil and gas extraction, and support activities.
