ELSTAT: Exports increased by 59.8% in June

Exports increased by 59.8% in June compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, while the trade deficit widened by 42.7%.

In particular, and according to ELSTAT data, the total value of import-arrivals, during the month of June 2022, amounted to 8,262.5 million euros ($8,703.8 million) against 5,383.9 million euros (6,466 .4 million dollars) during the same month of the year 2021 showing an increase, in euros, of 53.5%.

The corresponding value without petroleum products during the month of June 2022 showed an increase of 1,080.9 million euros, i.e. 25.6%, while the corresponding value without petroleum products and ships during the month of June 2022 showed an increase of 1,081.7 million euros. euros, i.e. 25.7%, compared to the month of June 2021.

The total value of exports-shipments, during the month of June 2022 amounted to 5,426.3 million euros ($5,750.6 million) against 3,396.0 million euros ($4,103.4 million) in the same month of the year 2021 showing an increase, in euros, of 59.8%.

The corresponding value without petroleum products during the month of June 2022 showed an increase of 607.7 million euros, i.e. 24.1% and the corresponding value without petroleum products and ships during the month of June 2022 showed an increase of 606.1 million euros. euros, i.e. 24.2%, compared to the month of June 2021.

The trade balance deficit in the month of June 2022 amounted to 2,836.2 million euros ($2,953.2 million) against 1,987.9 million euros ($2,363.0 million) in the same month of the year 2021, presenting increase, in euros, of 42.7%.

The corresponding value without oil products during the month of June 2022 showed an increase in the deficit by 473.2 million euros, i.e. 27.8%, while the corresponding value without oil products and ships during the month of June 2022 showed an increase of 475.6 million euros, i.e. 28.0% compared to the month of June 2021.

The total value of import-arrivals during the period January-June 2022 amounted to 43,610.7 million euros ($47,467.1 million) compared to 28,864.6 million euros ($34,662.1 million) in same period of the year 2021, showing an increase, in euros, of 51.1%.

The corresponding value without oil products showed an increase of 7,662.2 million euros, i.e. 34.1% and the corresponding value without oil products and ships showed an increase of 7,620.7 million euros, i.e. 34.1%, compared to the period January-June 2021.

The total value of exports-shipments during the period January-June 2022 amounted to 26,017.5 million euros ($28,434.6 million) against 18,614.7 million euros ($22,492.4 million) in same period of the year 2021, showing an increase, in euros, of 39.8%.

The corresponding value without oil products showed an increase of 3,326.1 million euros, i.e. 24.1% and the corresponding value without oil products and ships showed an increase of 3,319.3 million euros, i.e. 24.1%, compared to the period January-June 2021.

The trade deficit in the period January-June 2022 amounted to 17,593.2 million euros ($19,032.5 million) against 10,249.9 million euros ($12,169.7 million) in the same period of the year 2021, showing an increase, in euros, of 71.6%.

The corresponding size without oil products showed an increase of 4,336.1 million euros, i.e. 50.3% and the corresponding size without oil products and ships showed an increase of 4,301.4 million euros, i.e. 50.1%.
