The Wage Cost Index of the fourth quarter of 2021 decreased by 0.5%, without any correction (seasonal or correction in terms of the number of working days), compared to the corresponding Index of the fourth quarter of 2020, compared to an increase of 5.0 % during the corresponding comparison of the year 2020 to 2019, as announced today by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).
At the same time, the Wage Cost Index of the fourth quarter of 2021, with seasonal correction but without correction in terms of the number of working days, compared to the corresponding Index of the fourth quarter of 2020, shows a decrease of 0.9% compared to an increase of 4.5 % in the corresponding comparison of the year 2020 to 2019.
Finally, the Wage Cost Index of the fourth quarter of 2021, with a correction in terms of the number of working days but without seasonal correction, compared to the corresponding Index of the fourth quarter of 2020, shows a decrease of 0.2% compared to an increase of 4.6 % in the corresponding comparison of the year 2020 to 2019.
