ELSTAT: Rise of 15.9% for the general output price index in agriculture-livestock in September

The General Output Price Index in Georgia – Livestock (without subsidies) for the month of September 2021, compared to the corresponding index of September 2020, showed an increase of 15.9%.

The corresponding index of September 2020, compared to September 2019, had decreased by 0.2%.

According to ELSTAT data, the increase in the General Output Price Index by 15.9% in September 2021, compared to the corresponding index in September 2020, is due to the 18.4% increase in the crop production price index and mainly in the change of groups cereals and seeds, fruits, and olive oil.

The General Output Price Index for the month of September 2021, compared to the index of August 2021, showed an increase of 0.4%.

The weighted average Output Index of the twelve months October 2020 – September 2021, compared to the corresponding index of the twelve months October 2019 – September 2020, showed an increase of 5.5%.

The General Index of Input Prices in Georgia – Livestock of September 2021, compared to the corresponding index of September 2020, showed an increase of 9.3% compared to a decrease of 3.4% in the comparison of September 2020 with September 2019.

The increase of the General Input Price Index by 9.3% in September 2021, compared to the corresponding index of September 2020, is due to the increase by 10.7% of the price index of consumables and mainly to the change of energy groups and lubricants, and animal feed.
