The Hellenic Statistical Authority announces the final data for the month of November 2021, of the Building Activity Survey.
Particularly:
The size of the Total Construction Activity (Private – Public), during the month of November 2021, in the whole country based on the issued building permits, amounted to 2,310 building permits, corresponding to 572.2 thousand m2 of area and 2,543.6 thousand m In other words, there was an increase of 42.9% in the number of building permits, an increase of 58.1% in the area and an increase of 71.3% in the volume, compared to the corresponding month of 2020.
The issued Permits for Private Construction Activity, in the whole Country, during the month of November 2021 amounted to 2,303 building permits, corresponding to 570.1 thousand m2 of surface and 2,531.1 thousand m3 of volume, presenting an increase of 43.5% in the number of building permits, an increase of 62.3% in area and an increase of 75.6% in volume, compared to the corresponding month of 2020.
The issued Public Building Activity permits during the month of November 2021, in the whole Country, amounted to 7 building permits, corresponding to 2.1 thousand m2 of surface and 12.5 thousand m3 of volume. The percentage of participation of the Public Building Activity in the total building volume, for the month of November 2021, is 0.5%.
During the period of the last twelve months, ie from December 2020 to November 2021, the size of the Total Construction Activity (Private-Public) based on the issued building permits, in the whole Country, amounted to 23,634 building permits, corresponding to 6,040.1 thousand m2 of surface and 25,364.7 thousand m3 of volume.
Compared to the corresponding period December 2019 – November 2020, there was an increase of 24.9% in the number of building permits, an increase of 49.0% in the area and an increase of 46.5% in the volume.
During the same period, December 2020 – November 2021, Private Construction Activity shows in the whole country, an increase of 25.1% in the number of issued building permits, an increase of 49.0% in the area and an increase of 46.3 % in volume, compared to the corresponding period December 2019 – November 2020.
The percentage of participation of the Public Building Activity in the total building volume, for the above period, is 2.2%.
In the eleven months of January – November 2021, the Total Construction Activity shows, in the whole Country, an increase of 27.5% in the number of building permits, an increase of 52.6% in the area and an increase of 49.9% in the volume, in relation to with the corresponding eleven months of the year 2020.
During the same period January – November 2021, the Private Construction Activity shows in the whole Country, an increase of 27.8% in the number of building permits, an increase of 53.0% in the area and an increase of 50.0% in the volume, in relation to the period January – November 2020.
