The corresponding size without oil products showed an increase of 3,846.2 million euros, i.e. 55.7% and the corresponding size without oil products and ships showed an increase of 3,809.5 million euros, i.e. 55.4%.
The total value of imports – arrivals during the period January-May 2022 amounted to 35,236.4 million euros ($38,644.9 million) against 23,480.0 million euros ($28,194.9 million) in same period of the year 2021, showing an increase, in euros, of 50.1%. The corresponding value without oil products showed an increase of 6,538.9 million euros, i.e. 35.9% and the corresponding value without oil products and ships showed an increase of 6,497.3 million euros, i.e. 35.8%, compared to the period January-May 2021.
The total value of exports – shipments during the period January-May 2022 amounted to 20,534.3 million euros ($22,622.9 million) against 15,218.0 million euros ($18,388.2 million) in same period of the year 2021, showing an increase, in euros, of 34.9%. The corresponding value without oil products showed an increase of 2,692.7 million euros, i.e. 23.8% and the corresponding value without oil products and ships showed an increase of 2,687.8 million euros, i.e. 23.9%, compared to the period January-May 2021.
An increase of 84.7% for May
For May, the trade balance deficit amounted to 3,093.7 million euros ($3,233.2 million) against 1,674.6 million euros ($2,004.4 million) in the same month of the year 2021, showing an increase , in euros, 84.7%. The corresponding value without oil products during the month of May 2022 showed an increase in the deficit by 1,018.1 million euros, i.e. 66.4%, while the corresponding value without oil products and ships during the month of May 2022 showed an increase of 995.9 million euros, i.e. 64.8% compared to the month of May 2021.
The total value of imports – arrivals, during the month of May 2022 amounted to 7,873.9 million euros (8,306.6 million dollars) against 4,912.6 million euros (5,948.9 million dollars) in the same month of the year 2021 showing an increase, in euros, of 60.3%. The corresponding value without oil products during the month of May 2022 showed an increase of 1,772.1 million euros, i.e. 47.1%, while the corresponding value without oil products and ships during the month of May 2022 showed an increase of 1754.1 million euros. euros, i.e. 46.8%, compared to the month of May 2021.
The total value of exports – shipments, during the month of May 2022 amounted to 4,780.2 million euros (5,073.4 million dollars) against 3,238.0 million euros (3,944.5 million dollars) during the same month of the year 2021 showing an increase, in euros, of 47.6%. The corresponding value without oil products during the month of May 2022 showed an increase of 754 million euros, i.e. 33.8% and the corresponding value without oil products and ships during the month of May 2022 showed an increase of 758.2 million euros, i.e. 34 .2%, compared to the month of May 2021.
