The Hellenic Statistical Authority announces, for the first time, the monthly Turnover and Volume Indices in the Automotive Sector for the period January-March 2022.
According to ELSTAT data, and in relation to the corresponding period of 2021, the turnover index in the sector wholesale, retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, decreased in January by 1.1%, increased in February by 20.8 % and in March by 6.4%.
Also, the volume index in the same sector decreased by 9.4% in January, increased by 11.4% in February and decreased by 2.3% in March.
Turnover Indices in motor vehicle sales for the period decreased by 5.5% in January, increased by 24.2% in February and 4.9% in March.
Also, the Volume Indices in the sector in January decreased by 15.8%, in February increased by 11.8% and in March decreased by 6%.
