It is pointed out that, during the month of December, the labor market was affected by the application of special operating rules in companies as well as by the implementation of measures for the protection of public health and the treatment of the COVID-19 pandemic, throughout the country.

These measures affected, in addition to the normal functioning of the market, the way in which the research data were collected.

It is noted that due to the non-standard conditions under which part of the primary data used for this press release was collected and the possible change in the response rate of the respondents and the degree to which it is due to these non-standard conditions, Greek Statistics The Authority shall carry out methodological checks on the compatibility of alternative data collection practices, the results of which it may publish on an ad hoc basis, if necessary.
