The salary cost was reduced in the first quarter of 2022 according to the data published today by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).
Particularly:
▪ The Wage Cost Index of the AD quarter 2022, without any correction (seasonal or correction in terms of the number of working days), compared to the corresponding Index of the AD quarter 2021, shows a decrease of 1.3% compared to an increase of 6, 6% in the corresponding comparison of the year 2021 to 2020.
▪ The Wage Cost Index of the AD quarter 2022, with seasonal correction but without correction in terms of the number of working days, compared to the corresponding Index of the AD quarter 2021, shows a decrease of 1.9% against an increase of 5.8% in the corresponding comparison of the year 2021 to 2020.
▪ The Wage Cost Index of the AD quarter 2022, with correction in terms of the number of working days but without seasonal correction, compared to the corresponding Index of the AD quarter 2021, shows a decrease of 1.8% against an increase of 6.5% in the corresponding comparison of the year 2021 to 2020.
