The singer Elton John 77, joined a host of stars to sing “I’m Still Standing” us behind the scenes of a show from the singer Joni Mitchell in the American city of Los Angeles, last weekend.
The record was shared by the Briton on his official Instagram account on Tuesday (22). In the images, the voice of “Rocket Man” and “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” appears singing with Mitchell, Chappell Roan, Brandi Carlile Blake Mills, Lucy Dacus, Tim Hanseroth and Allison Russell.
“The best backstage Joni Jam with Joni, Brandi, Chappell, Lucy, Blake and everyone”, wrote John in the publication’s caption.
The group met backstage at the “Joni Mitchell & The Joni Jam” a three-hour show that the American singer presented on Saturday (19) and Sunday (20) in the historic Hollywood Bowl an amphitheater located in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood that is the summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.
In the comments, fans highlighted the expression made by Chappell Roan while the group sang the album’s hit song “Too Low for Zero” released in 1983. “Chappell in the corner, just in awe and taking it in, that’s all of us,” wrote one fan.
“Is this the Pink Pony Club?” wrote another, using one of the American drag queen’s songs as a reference.
