Aircraft manufacturer Embraer said on Monday (17) that it had agreed to take out US$ 650 million in a three-year credit operation, with the possibility of extension for another two years, with a group of foreign financial institutions, according to a statement. the press.
The credit operation is led by PNC Bank, Crédit Agricole, Natixis, MUFG and Santander, with the participation of other institutions.
Embraer said it had not closed such a deal since 2010.
“This operation reinforces Embraer’s liquidity for the coming years and… it will help us in our credit rating in the long term”, highlighted Antônio Carlos Garcia, Embraer’s vice president of finance and investor relations, in the statement.
Embraer said that the conditions of the operation allow access to revolving credit by the company’s subsidiaries in the United States and the Netherlands, guaranteed by Embraer.
