Embraer had an adjusted net loss of R$428 million in the first quarter of 2022, a loss 18% lower than that recorded in the same period last year.
The net result attributed to shareholders was negative by R$ 170.7 million, 65.1% less in the annual comparison.
The company’s EBITDA was negative by R$1.1 million, reversing the positive result of R$82.1 million in the first quarter of 2021.
The Ebitda margin was 0%, against 1.8% on the same basis of comparison. Adjusted Ebitda was R$45.4 million, an annual reduction of 55.1%.
Total quarterly revenue was R$3.076 billion, down 30.9% from the same period last year. According to the balance sheet disclosed to the CVM, the result was mainly affected by lower deliveries in Commercial and Executive Aviation and lower revenues in Defense & Security, only partially offset by higher revenues in Services & Support.
“In addition, deliveries in the quarter were negatively impacted by the one-month stoppage of the company, in January 2022, due to the reintegration of the Commercial Aviation business unit”, says Embraer.
