Emergency power outages in Odessa after Russian raid – Fire at power plant in Rostov

Emergency power outages hit Odessa, Ukraine today after one of the city's high-voltage installations was damaged by a Russian airstrike, Ukrainian energy company DTEK said. “The situation remains difficult,” DTEK said on Telegram. “In order to reduce the load on the grid, the electric means of transport in the city will not operate, while the electricity consumption by the industries will remain limited,” he explained as reported by the Athens News Agency citing Reuters. Odessa authorities reported on Telegram that the city and the region have been targeted by several drone attacks launched by Russia. Four of them were shot down over Odesa and Mykolife regions.
