The actor Lucas Bravo 36, interpreter of the character Gabriel in “Emily in Paris” said in a new interview that the fourth season of the series, which just premiered on Netflix, is his favorite so far. He also revealed the change he would make to his character Gabriel’s restaurant.
“I feel like now it’s not so much about, ‘Hey, I’m discovering Paris, and it’s a whole new world.’ It’s not so much about this fish-out-of-water dynamic. It’s more about, ‘Okay, now that I’m here and I know how things work here, and I have the codes and the dynamics: let’s be realistic.’ So yeah, I feel like the season is a little bit more mature in that way,” he told Sharp magazine.
About Gabriel, he said that he feels closer to the character at this stage of the story, but that he would not make the same choices. At one point, he even revealed that he would change one aspect of the character’s restaurant.
“I don’t feel like I can read his mind anymore, which I could in season one; Darren Star is completely in charge,” Lucas said of the “Emily in Paris” producer.
“But I would love for his restaurant to become a vegan restaurant, and for him to get a green Michelin star.” Present in Gabriel’s plot in the new episodes, the Michelin star is a recognition that attests to the quality of the place. The Green Star was created for businesses that are more focused on a sustainable style.
“It’s something I’ve been talking about with Darren and the producers for two years, and I hope it happens,” he concluded.
The cast of “Emily in Paris” includes Lily Colins, Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Ashley Park (Mindy), Lucien Lavinsccount (Alfie), Camille Razat (Camille), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie) and more.
The fifth season has already been confirmed by Netflix.
