Two colleagues on stage, ready to support each other. The exhibition Emma’s was not just an opportunity to listen to her unpublished for the first time It is like this every time. But it was the (beautiful) demonstration of a possible alliance. Of sincere support and full of gestures. A story of empowerment feminine which is by no means taken for granted.
For his return to the competition at the Italian Song Festival, in fact, Emma wanted her friend Francesca Michielin as her conductor. We were finally able to see them together on stage and, let’s face it, it was a great emotion.
The two artists, constantly in contact during the performance, exchanged smiles and kisses. And they haven’t missed the opportunity to show that among artists it is possible to support each other with sincerity and passion. The same one that made them meet and that makes them so united also in facing this Sanremo adventure (as shown by their fun social contents these days).
The same song by Emma (written together with Davide Petrella and Dario Faini) speaks precisely of the difficulties that many women are forced to undergo, as if their being women can be considered as a reason for having to apologize, justify oneself. The strength of the song (which introduces a vocally more mature Emma and willing to show us new nuances of her voice) it was then amplified by the presence on stage of her friend Michielin, complete with headphones and wand in hand. The Venetian artist, graduating from the Conservatory, then greeted the Ariston audience by giving the traditional bouquet of Sanremo flowers to an orchestral.
A curiosity: for the evening of the covers on Friday 4 February, Francesca Michielin he will leave the direction of the orchestra to Maestro Carmelo Patti because will perform alongside Emma in a special version of … Baby One More Time by Britney Spears.
At the end of the exhibition Emma and Francesca Michielin embracedaware of having been the protagonists of a special moment on the Ariston stage.
