The Ukrainian issue and in particular the coordination of military aid and security guarantees to Kiev were the main issues discussed today in Paris by the French president Emmanuel MacronGerman Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Polish President Andrzej Duda.
During a press conference, according to the Athens News Agency, the French president underlined that the attack by of Russia in Ukraine there has been a strategic and geopolitical failure, that Ukraine is defending itself in an exemplary manner and that the three countries will do everything possible to defeat Russia. He also said that Ukraine’s ascendancy contributes to plans for peace and security in Europe.
The German chancellor said that Putin should realize that his plan has failed and end the war.
The Polish president said that for the security of Europe and the future of the EU, Russia should not have the military capabilities to attack another country and that Ukraine expects a clear prospect of joining NATO.
