French President Emmanuel Macron today welcomed US President Donald Trump’s initiative to call for an unconditional ceasefire of a 30 -day fire in Ukraine. The French president said, in a message to X, that he contacted the United States president last night and stressed that everyone should be activated immediately in this direction, without delay and without hypocrisy. The French president also notes in his message that Ukraine has been giving its consent to cease fire for two months and that Russia is expecting to do so.
