Emotional support alligator disappears in the US; owner offers reward

An emotional support alligator with thousands of followers on social media has disappeared off the coast of Georgia, in the United States.

Wally, who has amassed more than 100,000 followers on TikTok alone, disappeared while traveling from the city of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, to Brunswick.

The animal's owner, Joie Henney, says he was caught from an enclosure on April 21st while he was in town visiting friends.

A week later, there's still no sign of Wally.

“We need all the help we can get to get my baby back. Please, we need your help,” stated Henney in a video.

On Saturday (27), an update posted on Facebook said that the alligator was captured between 4:30 am and 7 am on April 21st and that searches were carried out on foot, without success.

Henney highlighted that a reward is being offered, with no questions asked about how the animal was found.

Wally made headlines last year when he was denied entry to a Philadelphia Phillies game due to service animal rules.
