South Korean manufacturer Emtek introduced the GeForce RTX 3090 Blower Edition graphics card. The name reflects an important feature of this product – a cooling system with a tangential fan, better known as a “turbine”.
This is not the first GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card with such a cooling system. The source reminds that similar models already exist, for example, in the assortment of Asus and Gigabyte.
The card’s dimensions are 268.6 x 112 x 38.5 mm, that is, it occupies two slots in a PC case. An interesting design feature is the extension PCB, which made it possible to transfer the additional PCIe power pins from the top to the back. By the way, the power subsystem of the GeForce RTX 3090 Blower Edition is built on an 18-phase circuit.
As you know, the basis of the GeForce RTX 3090 is GPU GA102 (Ampere) with 10,496 CUDA cores and 24 GB of GDDR6X memory. The base frequency of the GPU Emtek GeForce RTX 3090 Blower Edition is not specified, but the increased frequency is 1695 MHz, that is, it does not differ from the increased frequency of the GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition. With a set of video outputs, the Emtek card also repeats the reference sample. In other words, the mounting plate has one HDMI 2.1 and three DisplayPort 1.4a outputs.
The price of the GeForce RTX 3090 Blower Edition is approximately $ 2,500.
