The open Orthodox encyclopedia “Drevo” (drevo-info.ru) is a project to create an informational Orthodox resource. The project was opened in May 2005 and is currently one of the largest and fastest growing church history directories on the Internet. The “Tree” systematizes information about the doctrine and history of the Orthodox Church, about shrines, monasteries and temples, about other religions and sects, as well as information from world history and related sciences. “Drevo” includes the Church Slavonic dictionary and the full text of the Russian Bible with a parallel Church Slavonic translation. The encyclopedia may be of interest to a wide range of readers.

Installation features
Apk does not include application database. If the application is installed from the market, then the database is downloaded immediately or at the first start. If you install yourself from the attached apk, then the program will not be able to download the base from the GP, since there is no license to use it. For this reason, I highly recommend installing the application from the market (especially taking into account future monthly database updates). Below is an instruction for those who, for whatever reason, could not install the application from the market.
1) Install, but do not launch the application
2) Download the database file from the link below
3) Copy the file to the card (ExternalStorage) of your device: /Android/obb/ru.drevoinfo
4) Everything, you can run.
If at startup the application continues to try to download the database:
1) unload the application completely, then make sure the file is at the correct address and try again
2) if it did not help, you may have copied the file to the wrong folder. You can try to search where the obb files are.
Starting from version 1.1, when trying to download a database, the application displays the exact path to the database file for your device. If you rewrite the database file yourself and the application continues to try to download the database from the network at startup, just pay attention to the path to the obb file indicated on the screen and transfer the file to the required folder (create the necessary folders if necessary). An attempt to download the database when the application starts indicates that the application cannot find the database file at the specified path.
Once again: the application is free, it is better to install it without a headache directly from the market.
Attention! Application requires cache installation:
- Download the apk file and the cache file of the corresponding version.
- Install apk, but DO NOT run it!
- Unpack the zip archive with the cache.
- Move the resulting folder to / Android / obb /
- The application can now be launched.
