34 birds were rescued from a captivity in Santos Dumont, Minas Gerais, during an operation against illegal animal trafficking and captivity.

The action was carried out by the Military Environmental Police on Tuesday (17), after a complaint about the case in the rural area of Cachoeirinha.
In addition, they were found 28 cages on site . Those responsible were charged and the birds will be sent to the Wildlife Triage Centers (Cetas).
