Endless bloodshed in Myanmar, authorities opened fire on a health protest

The five-day New Year’s Eve celebration, known as Thingyan, began on Tuesday, but pro-democracy activists canceled traditional celebrations to focus on anti-military protests.

The Association for the Relief of Political Prisoners (AAPP) has announced that security forces have killed 715 protesters since February 1.
