After the storm that hit the state of São Paulo last Friday (14), causing damage to the electrical grid, and leading to the interruption of electricity supply, there are still 340 thousand customers who remain without electricity according to Enel, on Monday night (14).
The company also stated that by early evening, more than 1.7 million customers had their power restored.
In various parts of Greater São Paulo and also in the capital, the Military Police recorded at least five demonstrations against the company.
At ABC Paulista, police officers had to intervene with the use of non-lethal ammunition and one person was detained. The act took place on Rua Tomé de Souza, in the Casa Grande neighborhood, in Diadema. In the action, residents blocked the road with pieces of wood.
Also in a statement, the company stated that it “continues to work to restore service” to affected customers.
