Enel says power has returned to 99.99% of customers almost a week after the blackout in SP

Enel reported, on Thursday night (9), that it had restored electricity to 99.99% of customers who were affected by the strong storm that hit São Paulo last Friday (3).

In turn, the company did not disclose how many properties are still without power.

According to the company, technicians continue to work on specific cases that occurred in the days following the storm.

In the morning, Enel said that around 1,300 customers were still without supply. Initially, 2.1 million people were affected.

Initially, the company declared that the forecast was for full restoration by Tuesday (7), which was not possible.

The company is responsible for bringing energy to the capital of São Paulo and 23 other municipalities in the metropolitan region.
