Enem 2022 starts this Sunday (13); know all about the test

This Sunday (13), the 2022 National High School Exam (Enem) begins. In this first of two weekends, about 3.4 million students will take tests in languages, codes and their technologies, human sciences and the essay.

The test application sites will have the gates open between 12:00 and 13:00, Brasília time. The test is scheduled to start promptly at 1:30 pm.

According to information from the Anísio Teixeira National Institute for Educational Studies and Research (Inep), students will have 5 hours and 30 minutes to complete the first day of tests, and 5 hours to complete the second day of assessment.

The second and final day of the test takes place on Sunday, November 20th. On the second day, tests in natural sciences and their technologies, and mathematics and their technologies will be applied.

How to find the exam location?

Exam locations can be found at Participant page, on the Inep portal.

How many questions do the tests have?

Students enrolled in the Enem will be submitted to 90 questions on each of the test days.

On the first Sunday, there are 40 questions in Portuguese, five in a foreign language (English or Spanish, chosen at registration) and 45 in Human Sciences. In addition to the objective questions, students will do the essay on this day.

On the second Sunday of application, there will be 45 questions in Mathematics and 45 in Natural Sciences.

What to bring to the exam?

According to the public notice published by Inep, participants must identify themselves with original documents, with a photo. Among the documents accepted are the Identity Card, the National Driver’s License (CNH), the passport and the Work Card issued after January 27, 1997. In this edition, the digital documents e-Título, digital CNH and digital ID will be accepted. , as long as they are presented in the respective official applications.

For both students who signed up for the printed and digital modality, it is mandatory to use a black ink ballpoint pen, made of transparent material, to transcribe the answers to the objective questions and writing on the respective Response Cards and on the Essay Sheet.

Although not mandatory, it is recommended to bring snacks, water and/or other beverages, with the exception of alcoholic beverages. It is also not mandatory, but indicated, to take the Registration Confirmation Card.

What not to take to the Enem?

Candidates may not carry, during the exam, any electronic device, such as cell phones, smartphones, tablets🇧🇷 wearable techcalculators, electronic organizers and/or similar, recorders, pen drive, mp3 and/or the like; alarms, alarm switches or any other electronic component.

Electronic devices must be turned off and kept inside the storage envelope. If the device emits any type of sound, such as ringing or alarm, the participant will be eliminated from the exam.

Other accessories, such as headphones, sunglasses and headgear, such as caps, hats, visors, caps or similar items; non-transparent material pen, pencil, mechanical pencil, erasers, rulers, correctors, books, manuals, printed matter, notes; Ear protectors, watches of any kind are also not allowed outside the storage compartment.

The envelope must be sealed and identified, from entering the tasting room until leaving the venue.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in the elimination of the test.
