Students taking the National High School Exam (Enem) 2024 exams will be able to use the digital version of the National Identity Card (CIN) as an identification document. The information was confirmed by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep).
Other documents in digital version, including the e-Título, CNH or the old ID, will also be accepted, as long as they are presented in the official applications, screen captures will not be recognized.
To insert the Digital CIN into your document portfolio in the Gov.BR application, simply log in, click on the '+' symbol on the 'Document Portfolio' icon, choose the 'Identity Card' option and go to 'Add Document' .
More than 7 million CIN units have been issued in 23 states and the Federal District to date. According to the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services, the new version of the document increases the security of population identification and contributes to reducing fraud.

The Enem 2024 tests are scheduled to take place on the 3rd and 10th of November. The exam evaluates students' academic performance at the end of basic education, and can be used to enter higher education in public and private institutions.
The registration period for those who wish to take the test runs from May 27th to June 7th, with a registration fee of R$85.
