Enem coordinators announce collective resignation

Nineteen coordinators of the National Secondary Education Examination (Enem) have asked for collective resignation from their positions in response to what they classify as bad management by Inep, an agency linked to the Ministry of Education and responsible for applying all public examinations to assess teaching in Brazil.

A CNN found that the trend is that this number of dismissed increases. In an official letter sent to the board of Inep, to which the CNN had access, the civil servants affirm that “considering the systemic situation of the agency and the technical and administrative weakness of the current top management of Inep”, they request the dismissal of the position in a commission or commissioned position that they were.

“This is not about an ideological position or a union character. Despite the difficulties reported, we reaffirm our commitment to society to maintain our commitment to technical activities related to the institutional goals established in 2021″.

Enem is scheduled to take place between November 21st and 28th.

Last week, the column anticipated the resignation of two other general coordinators of Inep directly linked to Enem.

A CNN obtained, this Monday, the new requests for dismissal by the Electronic Information System (SEI), public database. Servers complain of poor management and that they are victims of bullying and intimidation.

Directly contacted, the president of Inep, Danilo Dupas, and also the institute did not manifest themselves.
