The Ministry of Education (MEC) called the Federal Police (PF) again this Sunday (12), due to the circulation of Enem images around 5pm, before the set time. According to the test notice, it is only permitted to leave the exam location with the test after 6pm.
“We immediately contacted the Federal Police again, who are continuing to investigate the leaks of exam photos on the first day of the exam,” said Camilo Santana, Minister of Education, at a press conference.
According to the minister, the PF has already identified eight people who released the images of the test on the first Sunday of the exam, which took place on November 5th.
“Remembering that there is no harm to the exams, because there was no confirmation of any leak before the start of the test”, highlighted Santana.
The minister also pointed out that any candidate who felt disadvantaged during the administration of the tests can request the exam to be reapplied between the 13th and 17th of November. Reapplication exams will be held on December 12th and 13th.
What to do with the notes?
The test answer sheet will be published on November 24th . The results will be published on the day January 16, 2024 .
Enem scores can be used in the Unified Selection System (Sisu) and in the University for All Program (ProUni).
Sisu is the platform where public higher education institutions offer places for their courses, with different required cutoff scores. Candidates who obtained a grade greater than zero in the essay and those who are not in the training modality can register for Sisu.
ProUni works in a similar way to Sisu, but it is the system that offers scholarships at private higher education institutions.
Anyone selected for both programs must choose between one of them, as it is not permitted to obtain the ProUni scholarship while enrolled at a public higher education institution.
The candidate can also opt for the Student Financing Fund (Fies), which does not require a minimum score to participate. This is a loan made by the federal government to students who cannot pay for studies at private universities in Brazil.
Upon completing the course, in the Fies modality, the student must pay the debt, under a series of conditions made available by the government.
