Enem: participants with Covid-19 must reschedule the test; know how to do

the first day of National High School Exam (Enem) takes place this Sunday (13). Participants who have Covid-19 or one of the infectious diseases listed in the notice should not attend the application site to take the exam. The reapplication can be requested on the Participant’s Page, within five working days after the last day of the test, which will be on November 20th.

The test will be applied in 11,275 locations spread across 1,747 Brazilian municipalities, according to the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep). Gates open at 12pm and close at 1pm. The tests start at 1:30 pm and end at 7:00 pm Brasília time.

In case of symptoms similar to those of Covid-19 the week before or the day before the application, Inep’s guidance is that the applicant does not appear at the test site and requests the reapplication on the Participant’s Page. At the time of application, it is necessary to attach a document proving the condition. The request will then be analyzed by Inep.

If the diagnosis occurs on the day of application, the participant must also communicate their condition through the Participant’s Page🇧🇷 The approval of the report will guarantee participation in the reapplication, on January 10 and 11, 2023.

In addition to Covid-19, the diseases listed in the notice are: tuberculosis, whooping cough, diphtheria, invasive disease caused by Haemophilus influenzaemeningococcal disease and other meningitis, smallpox, human influenza A and B, wild poliovirus poliomyelitis, measles, rubella and chickenpox.

Documents proving illness must contain:

  • Participant’s full name;
  • diagnosis with the description of the condition that motivated the request and the code corresponding to the International Classification of Disease (ICD 10);
  • signature and identification of the competent professional, with the respective registration of the Regional Council of Medicine (CRM), the Ministry of Health or a competent body.

According to Inep, it is not necessary to present proof of Covid-19 prevention vaccination to carry out the tests of Enem 2022.

The use of a mask is mandatory, from entry to exit from the competition venue, except for participants with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual or sensory disabilities, as provided for in Law No.

Participants can bring a bottle of liquid or gel alcohol and it is also allowed to wear transparent or semi-transparent gloves during the tests. According to Inep, equipment and hygiene items will be inspected. It is also recommended that each participant bring their own water bottle.
