Energean made a donation to the Central Welfare Fund of the First Diocese of Philippi, Neapolis and Thassos, which performs an important social work covering a total of 94 parishes, after a relevant communication by the head of the Corporate Social Responsibility department, Mr. Metropolitan of Philippi, Neapolis and Thassos Mr. Stefanos. This donation focuses on the daily meals of the parishes, and, in particular, on the “Table of Love”, which is an important charitable ministry of the Holy Metropolis of Philippi, Naples and Thassos for about four decades.
To complete the relevant process, at noon on Thursday, March 10, the Most Reverend Metropolitan Mr. Stefanos, the Chief Executive Officer and Country Manager of Energean in Greece Dr. Katerina Sardi, who stated in this regard:
“One of the main priorities of Energean is the assistance to our fellow citizens who face difficult conditions in their daily lives and we consider that the action and the charitable work of the Holy Metropolis of Philippi, Naples and Thassos to our local community is the most appropriate Besides, we were very happy to participate last Easter in an initiative of the Regional Unit of Kavala, which had as its final recipient the Holy Diocese.
