‘Energy Scouts’: New online energy saving tutorial

Another online seminar on energy saving in business, “Energy Scouts”, is planned next October by the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as part of its actions for a more “green”, energy, market and environmental protection.

This is the second training seminar of the new three-year cycle of the “Young Energy Europe 2.0” project.

“Young Energy Europe 2.0” is funded by the European Climate Protection Initiative (EUKI) of the Federal Ministry of Economy and Climate Protection (BMWK) and coordinated by the Central Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK). Apart from Greece, this project is being implemented simultaneously in Germany, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Croatia.

Through a four-day online seminar, “Young Energy Europe 2.0”, addresses employees in all sectors of the market and offers knowledge and skills to contribute as “Energy Scouts”, in the recognition and recording of energy savings and resources in business where they work, thus contributing to the reduction of energy costs and the protection of the environment and emphasizing the possibility of participation and the role of each employee in it.

The main topics of the seminar include:
· The introduction to climate protection
· Saving resources
· Energy saving

The ultimate goal of the program is for participants to understand the importance of their individual contribution to tackling climate change and energy savings and to identify the appropriate technologies, methods and actions needed, especially in the workplace, for their businesses to save energy and resources based on “green” growth.

At the end of the webinar, participants will be asked to present their ideas and explain how they can support their companies, so that they become more “green” in energy.

Participants will receive “Energy Scouts” certificates with the seals of the Central Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) and the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, while those who excel will participate in international meetings of German Energy Scouts, held in other European countries. .

Finally, all companies that will express interest in the program, will be featured in the communication actions of the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, related to the project “Young Energy Europe 2.0”.
