Episodes continue in Jerusalem – Hundreds injured

On Friday night, more than 200 people, most of them Palestinians, were injured in clashes between police and Palestinians in Mosque Square. On Saturday and Sunday, calm returned to the square, but clashes between Palestinians and Israeli police continued in other parts of East Jerusalem, injuring more than 100 Palestinians, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.

Israeli police also reported casualties in their ranks.
