According to the president of Turkey, “the Faith drilling rig brought to light a natural gas reserve of 58 billion cubic meters.”
“As a result of the analysis of the data, our previously announced stockpile of 540 billion cubic meters has been revised to 652 billion cubic meters,” Erdogan added.
“The natural gas we have discovered in the Black Sea is worth $1 trillion in international markets at today’s figures. Our new discovery will open the door for similar discoveries in other geological fields adjacent to the area. We will start new drilling as soon as possible“, said Erdogan, adding “Ewe are determined to ensure that Turkey will be the energy center of the Caspian, the Mediterranean and the Middle East».
