The Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan appeared after fake news about his death, spread via twitter, thus refuting rumors that he has a serious health problem. Persecution of 30 people

It is recalled that the Turkish authorities have announced that 30 users will be prosecuted following the uproar who published “false and unfounded” messages about the state of health of the Turkish president, even saying that he had a stroke and died.

“It was found that the hashtag #dead was released on the social network Twitter, with references to our president,” the General Directorate of Security said in a statement. “Under this hashtag, 30 people who shared misinformation content were identified (…) And the necessary proceedings were initiated against them “.
