Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday that he would invite his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to enter into a dialogue with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to find a solution to the thorny issue of pro-Russian or pro-Russian forces. namely the Crimea and the Donbas region.
Speaking to reporters in Istanbul, Mr. Erdogan noted that he would contact Vl. Putin at 4 pm Greek time and will reiterate his proposal to host the heads of state of Russia and Ukraine on Turkish soil for peace talks.
