Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski, in view of the meeting of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 15, where he will be raised by the US presidents. According to a statement from the Turkish Presidency’s Communication Directorate, Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey is ready to host a meeting at the leaders’ level and that he believes that setting up working groups in the areas of military, humanitarian and political cooperation will pave the way for one.
