“There is an urgent need for the Security Council to take swift action to ensure peace and tranquility in Jerusalem,” Erdogan added. He also said that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which has 57 members and is projected as the collective voice of the Muslim world, should take action. “If he does not immediately take a clear and effective stance, he will be considered to have denied his existence,” he warned.
