Erdogan raises zeros with many zeros – ‘Stop talking at last’, the opposition shouts

Every time inflation rises, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan makes increases. Every time the pound depreciates, it makes increases. Small and unobtrusive, but it acquires the right to boast that it makes increases.

So today, the Turkish president, after giving money to doctors, with the pound having reached 14 against the dollar and 15 against the euro, also increased increases for teachers and in fact … with many zeros.

“We will give an additional 2,500 Turkish pounds (165 euros) to the specialist doctors and 5,000 Turkish pounds (330 euros) to the other doctors,” he said, adding that teachers are expected to receive an increase of 1,000 Turkish pounds (65 euros) and the directors increase 2000 Turkish pounds (130 euros).

The currency has weakened by 35% amid cumulative interest rate cuts by 400 basis points since mid-September.

At the same time, the leaders of the opposition parties are calling on the Turkish president to finally stop talking, as every time he articulates economic theories, Turkey is sinking deeper into chaos.

Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu attacked Erdogan on the economy, drawing attention to accuracy and rising cost of living, telling FOX TV: “The problem in the economy is very serious, we know very well that the kitchen A mother says, ‘I beg for money door to door. Save my child. The people are dead, they are dead!’ Does the palace listen or not? They live in the tulip era, in another universe. Everything from bread to meat, cheese, gas, electricity has increased. As you speak, you batter the country. “Let the industrialists, farmers and retirees of this country speak. But he does not even know God from economics. There is a science called economics. He does not even know about fiscal policy,” he said indignantly.

“The cost to the country was 2 192 billion from his 2-hour speech,” CHP spokesman Fake Oztrak said, referring to the most expensive production on state-run TRT television, citing an interview with the Turkish president.

In the same vein are the statements of the leader of the Party of the Future (Gelecek Partisi) and former Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, who called on him not to speak: “With his statements he went up to 14 TL! These speeches are now a deliberate attack on “Do not talk anymore, in the name of God!”, he said.
