Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today expressed his desire to “continue the dialogue with the BRICS family”, during the extended summit of this five-nation organization being held in Kazan, Russia. “As Turkey, we are determined to continue our dialogue with the BRICS family, with which we have developed close relations based on mutual respect and mutual benefit,” the Turkish head of state said. “The political and financial mechanisms, which emerged from the period after the Second World War, cannot deliver what we expect from them,” he added.
