Erdoğan sings a rallying cry that presents him as… the new Muhammad the Conqueror

The president of Turkey imagines himself as a new Muhammad the Conqueror Recep Tayyip Erdogan and in fact… he even sings. Visiting Tivas (Sogut) in the province of Bilecik, in the northwest of the country, Mr. Erdogan visited the mausoleum of Osman Gazi (so-called founder and sultan of the Ottoman Empire who lived in the period 1258-1326), one of the most important monuments of the neighbor, where he was warmly received by a squire dressed in janissary uniforms, and with them, he began to sing a hymn depicting him as the new Muhammad the Conqueror.

As they say the lyrics of the hymn: “”You are of the age when the Conqueror captured Constantinople. You are in the hand, you are in the tongue, you are in the heart. You are of the age when the Conqueror captured Constantinople.” Of course, it should be emphasized that Mohammed II was only 21 years old when he captured Istanbul, while Mr. Erdogan is 68, but these are… details for the Turkish president.

Mr. Erdoğan appeared as a new conqueror, reading at the same time a “prophetic” poem which mentions in Hagia Sophia: “Agia Sophia, wonderful nae! Don’t worry the grandchildren of Muhammad the Conqueror will tear down all the idols and turn you back into a mosque. They will cry when they get ready for prayer and kneel down to pray. The sounds of prayers will once again fill the empty domes. It will be the second Fall. Poets will write epics. Prayers will announce it. The sounds of prayers that will be heard from the empty minarets today will be heard again in Space. The whole world will think that Muhammad the Conqueror has risen Second Fall this will happen, these days are near, maybe closer than tomorrow. Praise be to Allah, we deserved to reach this tomorrow.”

Then the Turkish president added, addressing the audience: “You heard the poem, it said that Hagia Sophia will be opened…. Is Hagia Sophia open? God deserved us, glory be to Allah.”
