Erdogan to Putin: West’s silence has escalated the humanitarian crisis in Gaza to an unavoidable level

THE Recep Tayyip Erdogan had telephone contact with him Vladimir Putin about the Middle East, with the former stressing that the West’s attitude escalated the crisis in Gauze.

The Turkish presidency made a post on the X platform and wrote the following:

“President @RTERdogan spoke by phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The call concerned the course of the escalating conflict between Israel and Palestine and the humanitarian crisis in the region.

President Erdogan pointed out that the brutality targeting the Palestinian territories is deepening and that civilian casualties are increasing every minute. He also said that the silence of Western countries has escalated the humanitarian crisis in Gaza to an unavoidable level.

President Erdogan underlined that Turkey will continue to make every effort to restore peace in the region.”
