Erdogan unmoved: No change of position for S-400s

They appeared cheerful Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Joe Biden at their meeting at the NATO Summit earlier this week, although they did not have anything positive to say on the issues that separate them, such as the S-400, Syria and others.

Turkish President says he told US President Joe Biden that Ankara will not change its stance on Russian missile system S-400, for which Washington has imposed sanctions against Ankara, state media reported, according to the Athenian-Macedonian News Agency.

During a flight from Azerbaijan, Erdogan also told reporters that his country was ready to “take on much more responsibility” in Afghanistan after the withdrawal of US and NATO forces, Anadolu news agency reported.
