According to SKAI, the Turkish president – raising his voice – addressed the foreign powers saying: “Whether you like it or not, we will increase the number of seismographs and drilling rigs”, amid reports in the Turkish media about a purchase plan and fourth drilling rig from Ankara.
Erdogan stressed that “our seismographs and drilling rigs will reach the highest level of exploration, extraction and production in the deep seas. Thus, they will operate there by the method of renting them.”
It is noted that according to the Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak, Ankara has addressed South Korea for the purchase of a 4th drilling rig.
